Is anyone going to rally the January meeting?

January 4, 2012 - Jessica Collier
I'm guessing most of you with your radars up about the ACR saw this Planet in Peril website. A few weeks ago while I was gone, a few people were sending out emails about it, and I guess the guy who runs it, Richard Brummel, was trying to organize a protest/rally-type of thing for the December APA meeting.

I asked Chris Knight about it, and he said that he didn't see anyone around.

If I'm recalling correctly, ARISE and other supporters tried to organize a rally or rallies before/during I think it was the November meeting, and that never materialized. There were a ton of people that showed up to the actual meeting, but I don't consider that a rally.

I'm just curious what the January meeting has in store. It's obviously the most high-stakes meeting so far, and it will obviously be well-attended. Will there be actual rallies? I like to imagine supporters and opponents lining the walkway up to the building (because honestly that just sounds like it would make a great photo for the paper) but I doubt that will happen. We'll see!
