Funny and Not Funny

January 3, 2012 - John Stack
Remember Victoria Jackson? Back in the day she was this cute blonde who ‘played’ dumb on Saturday Night Live. She was actually a little funny with her ditzy act. Karen Avrech is a psychologist from LA who’s married to a screenwriter. She’s never been funny. Now, they have something in common – neither is funny, and both have gone over the deep end.

Recently, Michelle Obama has launched a campaign on children’s exercise. As the nation’s youth are at the highest level of obesity ever, and only seems to be getting worse, obviously getting these kids to exercise more is an insidious progressive liberal social engineering campaign to teach our children its OK to lie if it helps you (at least according to Dr Avrech). This is what Dr Avrech had to say about a short video for Lets Move: “ It serves as a wake-up call that Liberal ideology justifies the use of lies, manipulation and let’s face it, a dose of sadism.” And also “The premise that we should seek out guidance from the government on child rearing is one more encroachment on the sanctity of the family aimed at destroying the rights of parents to raise children according to their values.” So, to review – to get your kids some extra exercise, having them go back to their room on an innocent false pretense is :insidious, sadistic, and aimed at destroying the rights of parents to raise their children according to their values. So, if you are a parent, or see other parents condoning feeding your kids more and more fatty sugary food while they stay in the house playing video games – congratulations! you and they are at the forefront of the liberty, justice and parental rights movement.

Victoria Jackson is a nut by another name. Just type in Victoria Jackson into Google and your responses are going to include Victoria Jackson followed by ‘Crazy’ ‘Nut’ ‘BatSh*t Crazy’ and ‘best right wing rants’ . And they don’t even begin to describe her. As if this needs to be said, Fox News loves her.

She has her own online talk show, titled ‘PolitiChicks. A good idea for a talk show, if not led by the nuttiest right winger this side of Glen Beck. Her most recent unbelievable rant is her claim that Obama is part of the Muslim Brotherhood, which according to Jackson controls the whole Middle East other than Israel. Of course, Obama has also been involved with infiltrating all leves of the government with Muslims (and therefore Muslim Brotherhood members). How does she know? "I just went to a briefing in Washington, D.C., across the street from the Capitol, at the Longworth building at 8:30 a.m., two days ago, and it changed my life," she said. "For six hours, I saw pictures and names and dates and facts and Islamic law books and Korans, Surahs for six hours and they proved to me... that the Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated our highest positions in government and this is serious."

Now, one really has to wonder why , if there is any truth to this, why would they invite a nutjob like VJ to spread the word? Of all commentators out there, even Glen Beck and Sean Hannity are more believable than her. If I wanted to prove something, I would send VJ a copy of the opposite of my argument , let her talk about it, and everyone would figure, if its coming from Victoria, it must be blatantly false and ridiculous, no matter the content. Now, it isn’t really right to disregard a message just because of the messenger, but in this case, I think we mostly can agree its OK.

How else do I know? One of my sisters is a conservative (bless her misguided heart). Even SHE thinks Victoria Jackson is a tremendous liability to the GOP cause.

Ironically, both of these women have their roots in Hollywood- Dr Avrech’s husband isn’t just a screenwriter, but a dipstick right wing crazy writer also - (which is of course the root of all evil and of Liberal thought – one in the same I guess) yet its these two who are coming up with all this tripe. But, of course the typical far right wing crazy’s head would explode like the character in Dave Chapelle's comedy sketch about a black blind man at a KKK rally…
