Doolittle calls Sheehan letter shrill

November 21, 2011 - Jessica Collier
Oooo, look — Will Doolittle, formerly of the Lake Placid News and Adirondack Daily Enterprise and now projects editor at the Glens Falls Post-Star, is opining about the ACR.

He's been reading the letters to the editor I wrote about last week and he calls John Sheehan's response to Jim LaValley's letter shrill and suggests that "Maybe Mr. Sheehan spilled coffee in his lap that morning. Or maybe he feels that the Adirondack Council, used to having its way at the APA, is being pushed to the fringe, and it's making him shrill."

Doolittle has long been viewed as critical of environmental groups and the APA, so it's no surprise he'd side with LaValley on this one. It's interesting that he's deciding to weigh in here when the paper hasn't taken much of a notice of the ACR otherwise, though.
