Wonder how you, commissioners, feel when you have a staff that has the job of reviewing projects, but environmentalists can influence the system.

There's a dark cloud over the Park of people being too scared to bother proposing developments.

There's concern over commissioners relationships with "preservationist" groups. I believe it's just perceived, but it's a fear that there are sidebar discussions going on.

Over the next few months, you'll hear some proposed changes. But please don't paint this project into a corner.

Project phasing - You have to allow the development to grow with the market.

Lighting on west side of ski area - ACR developers met with observatory heads, agreed to specific lighting that both could live with.

ARISE can operate Big Tupper now, but they can't sustain it. "Big Tupper cannot operate without this project. Now's the time to show that you truly want to bring balance to the Park."
