"NYC is never going to amount to anything, because it's too far from Tupper Lake." There was a correctional facility that almost came to Tupper Lake. Everyone looked at it as a catalyst to help Tupper Lake survive. But the environmentalists ruined that by asking too many questions of the state. They will ask every question and look for every loophole they can to drive away this project, too. We cannot afford these special interest groups who love Tupper Lake and want to help us, but keep hurting us. Remember when Mike Damp (LP real estate agent) and Mike Foxman came in to the town hall to say he was interested in opening ski slope. Town had a lot of people who did that. Foxman was the only one who came back. Every time he came back, he had more people, better ideas and he took action. "Please, approve this project." "The town will not get hurt." "The environment has been taken into consideration. We need this in our community." We're endangered too - start fighting for us. Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article.
