Citizen Advocates names Reid Anthony as new CEO
MALONE — A Franklin County company that provides developmental disability and behavioral health supports and services has hired a new CEO.
Citizen Advocates Inc., which has four administrative offices in Malone where it is based and two in Saranac Lake, has hired Reid Anthony as its new CEO. According to a press release, Anthony has more than 25 years of executive experience across industries, most recently at the Schwartz Heslin Group, a business advisory firm in Albany.
“Some of my first priorities are to chart the strategic direction of Citizen Advocates, to continue a legacy of best-in-class services to those we support, and develop a workplace culture that encourages teamwork, rewards performance and values a work-life balance,” Anthony wrote in the release.
Citizen Advocates was founded in 1975 to serve as a work program to serve 50 individuals with a need for developmental and behavioral health support. Since then, the company has grown to employ 750 people and serve 6,500 clients.
